Product Description

2124 was an interesting year... I was court-martialed, demoted and sentenced to perform hard labor for the rest of my natural life... Then things got rough.

"Commodore Catherine Kimbridge... It is the judgment of this court, that for crimes against the people of the Galactic Coalition of Planets -- namely a wanton dereliction of duty in allowing the murder of a head of state in your custody -- that you should be demoted in rank to private and transported in chains to the Sagatori asteroid penal colony in the Ashkelon star system. There you will remain for the rest of your natural life."

Uncounted millennia ago the uncreated Creator reached forth a hand and touched a series of disparate universes. The touch set in motion ripples that created life in the Creator’s image… a life that was self-aware… a life that aspired to be more than it was… a life that sought to 'create' in its own right. Love and fear walked hand in hand. Thus the stage was set for an epic conflict that would span the universes. These are the adventures of one brave soul and her quest to protect all life. These are the Catherine Kimbridge Chronicles.

Admiral Bud Faragon slammed his gavel down.
"This court is adjourned and may God have mercy on your soul!"

Book Three is the first of a three-part mini-series called the Proxy Wars.

3.0 out of 5 stars why recap 14 Feb 2014
By suetian
Format:Kindle Edition
this had great potential .excellent opening plot that pulls you right. THEN just as you get engrossed, the author recaps the previous 2 books .instant dismount from plot .why recap?? i have just read the first 2 books, i don't have a noticeable short term loss. is it written better, no its not because its a summary and lacks any form of life. does it kill the narrative yes it most certainly does. i skip several pages and back to the plot and we are off and running . then we hit the next fence yes its another recap equally turgid repetitive and breaks the the time line . do i learn anything new no i don't more pages are skipped and back to the plot surely we are off and running but NO it happens again. .eventually the racaping stops and the story hits its stride.
If its not about padding out a story what benefits does recapping bring to a series??? the latter part of the book is a 4star the into is a 2 star. this book needed an editor

This series is some of the newest, freshest, most imaginative SciFi out there. Nothing in it seems like "I've read this somewhere before" like most SciFi out there. You will enjoy it :-)

2.0 out of 5 stars Too far out for me 7 Nov 2013

Too much fantastical tech as to be ridiculous. Very little character development, most characters get a one sentence introduction before they are blown to bits with a proton beam. No story to speak of in a never ending struggle.
