I first read this book about 10 years ago and for anyone with more than a passing interest in reincarnation and medieval history this book is a real gem.
The book is about the recollections of a young english schoolgirl whilst under hypnosis. Her recollections are of a past life in the Languedoc region of France in the 13th century. There she encountered a Dualist sect of supposed heretics, the Cathars, who were eventually wiped out by the inquisition.
What is amazing about this book is that at the time the young girl recalled her past lives the Cathars were little heard of and even less written about them. In fact today many people have never heard of them. What else is remarkable is that the girl was able to give checkable evidence to the author who became convinced of that her memories were true.
This is an inspiring if somewhat sad book in places but worthy of a read.

A fascinating book, which has resulted in me visiting some of the places mentioned in Britain. I also intend to walk the Cathars Way in southern France to see at first hand where history was made.
Overall an absorbing book which just makes me want to learn more about this hersey.

This is the story of the oppression of the Cathar Xtians in France 13th cent. Dr Guirdham uses not only the facts of accepted history but the records of a number of people who have far memories of those violent times. Suspend your disbelief for the read of the book, then see if you have some very new ideas !!
