Product Description

Hardbound book, in black antique pattern faux leather, pages pressed on special linen embossed paper. Gold inverted cross on the cover, each catechism is finished with a black silk ribbon and cream colour head- and tail-bands. Illustrated by the author. Small size book, 82 pages of religious texts. The Catechism of Lucifer was written as a counter-gospel for the Evangelical Lutheran catechism, but in addition to this, it represents a Gnostic form of Satanism on its own. In this book is outlined the path out of worldliness, out of theology mortally wounded by its false theodicy, even out of humanity taken as something small-minded, powerless and petty. The Catechism of Lucifer is founded upon the idea that by hating the perverted picture made of God by the Christian doctrine, we may truly attain higher possibilities for our Spiritual development and Empowerment. On this demanding but beautiful and meaningful path we are led by our innermost potential of ingeniosity, the divine Master Lucifer. In the Catechism there are included the following texts: The Ten Commandments of Lucifer / The Satanic Credo in Three Creeds / The Master's Prayer in Six Articles / Of Lucifer's sacraments / Of Demons / Of Magic / Of the Responsibility of the Individual / Of Satan / And many relevant quotations taken from the different sources of Star of Azazel's literature.

NOTE : I tried to get one from the original publisher but this tome is long-since sold out, and I was lucky to get it for £124.99 on Evilbay. i also bought its sister and EVEN MORE GORGEOUS BOOK, Fosforos, a large format, superb hardback that is a ... well, quite an unnerving read. So many books on ye dark arts claim lots but deliver little. This - and Fosforos - is an under-stated dose of seriously dark matter. NOT for the amateur, dabbler, nor , I suspect, for most. This is a weapon of a book! A1 but no need to bash LaVey - as other reviewers elsewhere have done. Most of them would KILL to have been ASzL666.

This is a work for gnostic Satanists in the spirit of the Satanic brotherhood Star of Azazel (of which the author is a founding member of). This is not a “how to” - type of work or Lucifer for Dummies, but rather a deeply interesting philosophical book on the subject of Gnostic Satanism that addresses various key points of the brotherhood. The language has at times a poetic quality to it, yet it’s clear, approachable and to the point, as opposed to many other occult books on the subject. The Catechism of Lucifer is must have for anyone interested in Satanism but who would rather have theirs without the naive streak of LaVey’s.

Satanists glorifying violence would do well to look elsewhere, as this book neither encourages nor supports such acts. Even though this is a book for the LHP worker, it’s undoubtedly one for the RHP worker as well- for the Star of Azazel seeks to unite both of these philosophies. So if you’re a strict supporter of anti-cosmic Satanism, this book will perhaps not be your favourite.

Visually, everything in this book is beautiful, from fonts to the choice of paper. There’s a few illustrations in as well. The size of the book is appealing- as it’s quite small it’s light to hold and fits nicely on one’s hands or pocket. The normal edition has faux leather cover, the limited deluxe edition is bound on black goatskin. Both, in my opinion, are collector’s items and will undoubtedly grow in value as time passes.

Unlike the other review claims, neither this book nor Fosforos is sold out or only available for members of Star of Azazel. Both are quite readily available to anyone from both the publisher’s site (ixaxaar) as well as the brotherhood’s.

Deep and dangerous stuff in these pages - but rewarding for eternity!
It is awesome, a really quite scary satanic bible by a very serious,
and (no offence) sinister writer who has written here a gold-mine of
luciferian information for the most serious of devout satanists!
This is the deep end, make no mistake about it. This is where you
must have courage to cope but where the rewards are real and endless!
Top quality book, beautifully crafted, a work of art in itself,
it feels like a grimoire of olde ... and the magick inside its
luxuriant covers is of mysteries seemingly long-lost yet
re-revealed to the few - it's a limited edition just for sale to
church members, only several hundred copies worldwide exist!

As with "Fosforos", his other rare, very limited edition (already sold out,
like this) in years to come this will be one of those books you see on auction
sites for one thousand Dollars, Pounds, Euros - or more!
