I cook very occasionally, but my wife, who does most of the cooking, had been going on about having a decent cast iron griddle to cook various items on, especially Welsh Cakes.
I remembered that my Nan used a cast iron frying pan which was at least 20" diameter and had a double handle so that two hands could be used to lift it, as it was so heavy, but it produced fantastic Welsh Cakes. This item, although somewhat smaller than the former, has proved to be as successful, and the products are delicious.
