Book Description

After the revelations in The Rendlesham Incident, Holmes and Skye find they have not one, but two, very serious problems facing them. Not only did their "UFO victim" most emphatically NOT die from a close encounter, he was dying twice over – from completely unrelated causes. Holmes must now find the murderers before they find the secret of the McFarlane farm. And to add to their problems, another continuum – containing another Skye and Holmes – has approached Skye for help to stop the collapse of their own spacetime, a collapse that could take Skye with it, should she happen to be in their tesseract core when it occurs.

The Case of the Cosmological Killer: Endings and Beginnings is the fourth book in an exciting and popular science fiction and mystery series.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great wrap-up... 11 July 2013
By Daniel Hollifield - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This 4th book in the series build upon clues established in the first three volumes to bring this mystery to a satisfying conclusion. The characters growth can be traced as the series progresses, and this is the perfect wrap-up to the tale. There are thrills, dangers, and twists aplenty as the pages turn. Hopefully, there will be further books in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome. Can't wait for the next one! 15 Jan. 2013
By Theresa P. Kennedy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is expertly researched and cleverly written. It will appeal to those who enjoy sci-fi as well as mystery. I really did feel let down when I was done, but only because I didn't have the next book to start.

5.0 out of 5 stars Story Smorgasbord 29 Dec. 2012
By E. Willson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Portions of science fiction, mystery and romance combine to make the "Case of the Cosmological Killer: Endings and Beginnings" a tasty literary treat. You may, however, find it hard to swallow if you only like one genre of reading material, or have problems with sexually explicit material.
The rest of us should enjoy ourselves. This is part two of a two-part novel, continuing a tale involving two parallel Earths. Thus we have two pairs of protagonists to keep track of, an amusing activity that reminded me a bit of sorting out the layers of consciousness in the movie "Inception," starring Leonardo DiCaprio, which came out a few years back.
I recommend Osborn's take on Sherlock Holmes to anyone who enjoys the character but is willing to park their preconceptions at Page 1. The Great Detective finds himself with a great challenge, and a great partner in physicist Dr. Skye Chadwick. It would probably be best if you read the two-part Displaced Detective novel before you started in on this one. Whatever. I am enjoying Osborn's work and looking forward to further Holmes/Chadwick tales from her.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book!! 22 Dec. 2012
By Alisa Russell - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is the fourth in a series by Stephanie Osborn and is the conclusion to The Rendlesham Incident which came out last summer. What can I say-I've thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of her books. The character interaction between Sherlock Holmes and his wife, Dr. Skye Chadwick-Holmes was superb, and we even get treated to a double dose as she also shows the interactions between their counterparts in the other continuum who slowly come to their own relationship themselves. I also liked how the science is portrayed in this book. Whenever I have read any of her books, I have always learned something new, but it's never put in a manner that's preachy or all-knowing, just a natural outgrowth of the characters and the situation they're dealing with. My older son also enjoys these books for many of the same reasons. Any new books in this series will always be at the top of my list.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Case of the Cosmological Killer: Endings and Beginnings 29 Jan. 2013
By Cliff - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book, The Case of the Cosmological Killer; Endings and Beginnings, gets a Full 5 Stars because of the fresh approach to the characters conceived by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Ms Osborn has all the necessary skills to weave a plot worthy of the great arthur himself, while bringing the skills of her "Day Job" as a NASA Payload Engineer to keep all the science believable. This book is highly recommended ...
