This is a really good book, full of invaluable advice and tips for the home carer. It outlines products to help the carer and shows how to do little things like washing/shaving the person cared for, advice on nutrition, help for the carer themselves. This is a very, very useful book.

There is so much information held within the pages of this book that it's surprising it isn't bigger. There is information on finding time for yourself as well as illustrations on how to assist a disabled or elderly person you are caring for. It shows you what items that are suitable for the tasks you need to perform. It includes information on how to use an electric razor to shave someone and ways to promote continence by pinpointing and solving the problem of incontinence.
There is a section on first aid along with a daily routine and weekly time planner at the back of the book and a glossary of medical conditions.... and much much more besides.
I am so glad I got this. It is just what I need when I need to know how to do something better for both myself and the person I care for.
