Product Description

Captain Eric Hamilton is a powerful force in the U.S. Navy, having earned himself a reputation of being a hard-nosed chauvinist. He’s commander of the USS Larsen, a destroyer, currently deployed in the Persian Gulf during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Abby Carlton has just escaped from the man who held her captive for a year. Abducted while traveling in Paris, she was given to an Arab man as a gift, until one night she makes her desperate escape.

While on patrol one morning Captain Eric Hamilton discovers a dinghy floating aimlessly. Abby is found, battered and in an advanced state of pregnancy, lying in the bottom of the dinghy. From the moment she lay on the deck of his ship her honest innocence finds a way to penetrate his hardened heart. But time is running out. Eric is falsely accused of sexual assault and the CIA wants Abby and the baby for bait to flush out her captor, who is suspected of recent terrorist activity in the gulf.

The Captain's Lady, A Military Romance - Another Outstanding Review 22 Aug 2009
By anonymous - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Hi, I just finished reading The Captain's Lady. I found it very interesting and exciting. It had everything going for it that a reader (like myself) looks for: flowing dialogue, drama, suspense, and romance. It was quite a journey that Abby and Eric made into each other's arms. I've read over a thousand same-type stories from sites such as Allromanceebooks, Samhain, and Ellora's Cave. This being said; I know what good is and The Captain's Lady is certainly in the top ten percent of the books I've read. It's a story I'll read again and again in the coming years.

Thank you so much for writing it and sharing it with us readers!
Take care and keep up the fine writing.

Most sincerely,
Colleen

The Captain's Lady, A Military Romance 25 May 2011
By Mimi Barbour - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
From the first few pages, the author captivated me with Abby and Eric's love story. I liked the navy ship's setting and the diverse characters that Ms. Ekehart presented to us. It was romantic, but at the same time the suspense was drawn out and she mixed the sweet with the salty. Her heroine found her perfect hero and for me, it's why I read romance.

Absolutely wonderful....calgon take me away.....romance... 8 Dec 2010
By CMarie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is one of my favorites and I've read more romance stories than I'll admit to. This story has a bit of everything thrown in. The Captain...he is a wonderfully human and falable man. I'm just finishing up reading it for the second time. I hope there is another in this same vein? I'll have to check that out....
Very good reading and excellent writing. Keep 'um coming.....I'll bet watching for more!
Thank you!
