This is a wonderful , well-written book that is so very easy to understand! I found that the math formulas in the text made the process very simple to understand! Ms. Oppenheimer has a light-hearted way of informing that conveys her love of the craft while somehow managing to let you know that she was once a novice too! I originally borrowed this book from the library and held it so long I owed money on it! When I started making candles, I didn't know a thing. With this book, I am able to determine how to solve my problems and when to just take my time--you can't rush a candle into cooling. Being an expert takes time, but I find that candles make easy and nice gifts, but may also come in handy for Y2K! You never know.

Poor Quality
The book is made of poor quality material and was a bit of a let down, it does not inspire you to take up candle making, all black and white illustrations and sketches.

EXCELLENT, WELL WRITTEN BOOK..VERY HELPFUL

Very comprehensive, well laid out, easy to read, clear info
This is a very comprehensive book and is a great asset and very very useful book, contains so much information and tips. Would have preferred a stronger binding, but still ++++++
