Christine Rayner plays Ludovico Einaudi's music for solo piano in aid of UK Cancer Charities and Research. The calming influence of the pieces selected for this collection create a sanctuary in which the stresses of daily life have no place. "On first hearing the beautiful Le Onde by Ludovico Einaudi in 2009 I was captivated. This piece touched me deeply, and playing his music has since become a vital part of my life. The calming influence of many of Einaudi's works creates for me a sanctuary in which the stresses of daily life have no place. His music would undoubtedly have inspired and uplifted me during the dark months of my chemotherapy eleven years ago, and I regret that it was unknown to me at that time. With this in mind, I humbly present my selected pieces from Einaudi's past albums as a compilation intended to offer the listener a restful hour of peace, calm and relaxation." At least £1 per copy sold will be Gift-Aid donated to UK Cancer Charities. Donations from sales will also go to directly help fund Prof. Roy Bicknell's research into alternative treatments to chemotherapy. Very soothing and relaxing. It suits us both as background to reading on winter or summer afternoons and evenings (and sometimes dozing off whilst reading!!) Really lovely

I found this C.D by Chrissie Rayner very relaxing and tuneful with a great degree of skilled playing.
I'm not used to listening to this type of music so the whole experience was very enlightening, especially the 'mix' of chord changes.
I will continue to listen to it and enjoy.

Christine's CD is a beautiful collection of music. Perfect for relaxing to and adding a little calm to your life. Wonderful.

Soothing Music CD
I am not used to listening to piano music, but this CD was so relaxing to listen to, I have recommended it to my daughter-in-law, it is so heartwarming and restores the soul.
