this book is gripping stuff. for my children 8, 6 & 5yrs. the story commences with a little girl who becomes the owner of 6 rabbits. she becomes very attached to one of the rabbits. and finds it difficult to let go, but relents when she is told by her mother the rabbits will be going to the bush. but when they get there its not quite what she expected. and cant bear to be parted from the rabbits.

my children were practically at the edge of their beds with suspense as i read this story. great book. excellent!
