Product Description

The Bully Exposed by Jonas Warstad is a complete guide to dealing with bullies in the workplace. Filled with facts about bullying and offering doable solutions for every personality, Jonas educates us on the psychology of bullies—why they are the way they are, how to communicate with them and, most important, how to get them to stop bullying you and your coworkers. This insightful book also introduces the reader to the “Law of Attraction” and helps us understand the role/responsibility of the victim while answering your questions about why you may be attracting workplace bullies; as well as giving you valuable, crystal-clear instruction on how to raise your self-esteem, self-worth, and self-confidence.

About the Author

A deep thinker and keen observer of human nature, Jonas has been studying individual and group behavior and workplace dynamics for over 20 years, both through books and through his own observations. “For as long as I remember I have been an avid reader of books on popular psychology, popular science, body language, positive thinking, philosophy, meditation, unexplained mysteries, the power of the mind and various healing modalities—anything that expanded my inner world and explained the outer world.”
“I have always been interested in the unknown. The unfathomable. The mysteries of the mind. Secret Knowledge. As a free thinker I was never really interested in any 'formal' psychology training; I was more into strategic thinking, psychological tactical skills, 'secret mental tricks'—all in order to find the 'magic phrase' or 'magic way' to deal with all sorts of people. I believe my interest in dealing with peo-ple has to do with the fact that I recognize myself all too well in the typical traits for HSP—Highly Sen-sitive Person; I always prefer for everyone to be happy, and treat each other respectfully. Through harsh 'reality checks' I have also come to realize that I suffer from what is commonly known as 'face blindness' (Prosopagnosia). This means that I have the questionable 'ability' to talk with someone, and afterward I would be unable to describe or draw their face using any details at all other than 'well, she had lips, eyes, long hair, a nose, and two ears'. Therefore, my main lasting impression of people is, and have always been, 'emotional impressions', such as their mood, or their likes and dislikes (I can often recall if a person likes 'pear flavor' or a specific movie or song years after the fact). Interestingly, sev-eral relatives of mine, both on my father's and my mother's side, are also more or less 'psychic' in vari-ous ways. I myself have never had the ability to 'see' or 'hear' things in that way (I wish I could see the winning Lottery numbers though!), but I guess my general sensitivity is tuned up, for good and for bad.”
In recent years he started to study a new range of “self-improvement” methods and techniques. “I bought books and distance courses as well as 'real' courses in body language, micro facial expressions, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), life coaching, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Law of Attraction, hypnosis, energy medicine, etc., as well as various self defense techniques. All of these tech-niques were like 'Version 2.0' of everything I had read previously, and gave me a lot of power in life.”
Nowadays Jonas is also a part time instructor in many of these techniques. “While this may sound like I 'try to know everything', it is in fact no more than my never-ending curiosity about how to improve one's life. Having a broad knowledge puts things in a bigger perspective, and makes me realize how everything is connected.”

5.0 out of 5 stars Dealing with Bullies 29 April 2013

Once you're all grownup and out of school, I never would have thought I'd be dealing with bullies my entire life. They seem to be everywhere.

Jonas Warstad has created an excellent resource for those who have a bully or two in their life, and really who doesn't?

While this guide is geared towards those bullies in the workplace, I find this book helpful for dealing with bullies anywhere you might encounter them, like church, the gym, and even if they happen to be your neighbors.

Warstad begins his book with helping us define a bully and to understand why they do what they do. This chapter was very helpful for me in understanding the whys - and it allowed me to essentially take a peek at the inner working of the bullies in my life - I know a few.

Warstad continues with a lot of helpful and practical advice to gain inner strength and help in dealing with bullies.

A quality book with a practical application. If you know a bully, I highly recommend this resource.

5.0 out of 5 stars I choose to read this book because I have been bullied by relatives and coworkers. It was an easy read. 8 Aug 2014

This was an enlightening read. I am one of those quiet, easy going people that seems to periodically attract bullies. This was very helpful information. Like all self-hep books, they add to your stock of things to know. I recommended it to a friend who was being bullied at work.

I find that the title, "The Bully Exposed: The Secrets of Dealing with Bullies at Work" is not only about bullies and how to deal with them, but about life and how to make it work. The author seems to have extensive knowledge and expertise in what he wrote about. He expresses his thoughts and suggestions in simple form and makes it possible for many to benefit from this work.

Excellent analysis of the bully personality and what to do to avoid becoming a victim.

The concepts have application in all walks of life.

If only it was available on the playground, the locker room, and the gym.
