I have no words to describe this album, this has been always one of my favourites. This album can be classified as early fusion or prog-fusion of the 70. The music is very complex, very jazzy but without any electronic crap tipical of the fusion of the 90es. This is a genuine, pure and fresh example of genius end technique together.
In this live album are playing the best musician on the planet: bill bruford at the drums, is very clean, precise like a swiss clock, amasing how many time and how easely they change the tempo ,from 4/4 to 7/4 ..to..xy/tz to ???
Jeff Berlin at the bass guitar is perfect, I personaly believe that Jeff is even better than the more famous Jaco Pastorius. In fact technically they are very similar, but I think that Jeff can create more melodic bass lines with the same complexity. If you are a bass player, like me, well this CD will tell you that you still have a long way to go , and Jeff can show you the way!!
At the guitar "Unknown John Clark", who I don't know who he is, is doing a fantastic Job, his way of playing is similar to Alan Holdsworth ( is he him? I don't know)
This is a CD that you have to have.
