Product Description

Product Description

Paul Debrick was one of football's hardest hooligans. For twenty years he stood at the head of one of the country's most feared firms: the Middlesbrough Frontline. A bouncer, bodybuilder, brawler and 'top boy', he has been shot at, gassed, stabbed, arrested and jailed.

They call him simply THE BRICK.

As direct as a punch to the jaw, he tells it like it was, from knifings and beatings to working the doors and serving time in jail. 'The Brick' is a shocking insight into the mindset of a hooligan leader.

average book 7 Jan 2008
Format:Paperback
Having read quite a few hooligan books this rates as average as 'the brick' seems to love himself a little too much which makes you suspicious as to the credibility of his stories. His non football stories are actually more interesting(like him working on doors etc).He also seems to still hold a few grudges as hes constantly bitching about ppl instead of getting on with his wild tales.not a bad book but there are alot better-its a big shame its so poorly written.

Gutter Writing 21 Dec 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this to look into the World of thugs to try to grasp how they do what they do. But this book is very poorly written indeed, the subject is vastly overated as is the Brick. Would not recommend this to anyone best left on the shelf.

Waste of Money 22 Nov 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Purchased this as i am origionally from there. What a waste of a read. Yes it was funny in places but if that is the level of intelligence in Middlesborough then heaven help us. I cannot understand why this guy is so passionate about violence. He seems to thrive on peoples missery [caused by his mindless violence]. Nothing to be proud of there old son. Neanderthal man still lives.

Should be Titled 'Fairytales'
This guy seems to be in love with himself, with his head stuck firmly up his own backside.
I honestly believe that some of his tales are all in the mind.
Best avoided.
