More About the Author

Ros is a writer, a church worker, a crafter, a blogger, a twitterer, a lazy gardener, and an appalling housekeeper. She lives in a sixteenth century shed in England and is very glad that it has twenty-first century plumbing. She is interested in almost everything except cricket and football (US and UK) and mostly she likes happy endings in fiction and in real life. Ros has been writing stories for as long as she can remember, never dreaming that other people would be interested in reading them. A few years ago, she discovered a writing forum on the internet, and has never looked back. Her head--and her hard drive--are full of ideas for fresh, fun, contemporary romances that she hopes you'll love as much as she does.

5.0 out of 5 stars A warm and witty romance 19 Aug 2011
By Kristy
Format:Kindle Edition
A wonderfully warm and witty romance. The characters are lovable and engaging and their conflicts totally realistic. The racing story-line is exciting to read and really well written. I love this author's voice and look forward to reading more from her.

Totally unputdownable.

Highly recommended.

I had never read romantic fiction before, I met the author so bought to book as it was not too expensive.
I really enjoyed the book, it was rich story with characters I really got into.
If you have never read romantic fiction before this is a great place to start.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rattles along like a Derby winner 3 Oct 2012

Its a long time since I've sat and read a book in one sitting, as I did with this one. Admittedly its not a particularly long book, but its an excellent example of its genre, if a little racier than I had expected.

The plot is well paced and the characters sympathetically drawn. I was a bit sad when the book ended as I had really enjoyed it. I will be downloading more of this authors work as I really like her writing style.

2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible 5 Feb 2013

I'm so glad that this book was free, because I've have been so annoyed if I'd paid for it. The main character was weak, the love interest had nothing to recommend him. I'd have tossed Fliss out on her ear for half the meddling she did (if I'd been the lead). Her characterisation was inconsistent and the guy in question was a paint by the numbers romance love interest. No thank you.
