About the Author
MARLA FRAZEE has illustrated several acclaimed picture books, including Everywhere Babies by Susan Meyers and Harriet, You'll Drive Me Wild! by Mem Fox, as well as her own A Couple of Boys Have the Best Week Ever, which received a 2009 Caldecott Honor. She lives with her family in Pasadena, California.

... how often do you see those two words used for a picture book these days? I loved this book as it was a complete surprise. The illustrations were lovely, and very funny- as was the text. Though the sense of humour is sophisticated, I'd have thought there was enough in the pictures for small ones to get their teeth into, and it won't be a chore for parents to read either.
In tone alone, it reminded me of the, 'Olivia' books. i.e. great for the adults, as well as kids.
This book would also work as a gift for expectant parents.
I've only given it four stars as the text feels ever-so-slightly clumsy at the end. That said, this book is pretty fab!
