Product Description

Review

At last, an exercise that's good for you, doesn't make you breathless or ache afterwards: And it's fun! This book is a great way to set your thinking processes free to consider an endless stream of ideas. It shakes, wakes and sharpens our brain in such a subtle way, we didn't realize how lazy it had become. I shall use it in my training programmes to get stressed-out managers and tired executives thinking laterally again. --Francis Rowlands, Marketing Director, Dragon Marketing, the Hairdresser

Product Description

The Book of Thunks will shake up your templates, rattle your thought routines and force you to think about things differently. So find a friend or family member, ask a Thunk disagree with their answer (remember there are no right and wrong answers) and keep your brain working longer and better.

great little book which I have used with secondary pupils-all sorts of kids-especially boys just love picking it up and discussing the contents. Lots of little quirky ideas which become much bigger issues when you start thinking about them.

Love the concept of Thunks and love the website too. (Really interesting to see what people think is a thunk on the website ;-) It's philosophy, but not necessarily as you know it. Great for gaps in the conversation at a dinner party as much as it is for lulls in the classroom. Love it.

I bought this book to give me topics and themes to discuss in the classroom. My class really enjoys the variety of questions. Some really funny, some more serious. It does the job and make them ponder, think laterally etc... Am not disappointed with this choice. I gave it 4 stars because I would not let my children read it as some of the questions are inappropriate for the school.
