The Journal will keep you on tract and show yourself your progress with easy and simple comments. It is easy to use and helps you focus on your main goals-droping weight or putting on size, the journal will help anyone regardless of thier fitness levels.Also recommend "body for life for women" and "the backsmart fitness plan" by Dr.Adam Weiss( great abs and core exercises over 30 movements- all three books are execellent source of exercises and food recommendation to help the reader reach thier goals.

If you have tried all the diets and exercise videos that are out there like I have, you may be feeling despondant and miserable. Well after I read the "Body for Life" book, I was transformed, I have a whole new outlook on my life and have been working hard to my dream body. The Success Journal helps me chart my progress everyday and keeps me on track. Each new day has a motivational message from Bill and space to plan your eating, and upper/lower body workouts. Its an invaluable source of information and when you are feeling low , you can look back on your reasons for taking up the BFL challenge and re-motivate yourself everyday.
I would definitely recommend this book if you are starting the BFL challenge.It goes hand in hand with the Body For Life Book.

Today is June 16th 2008. I finished my 12 week challenge on 28 April this year and I can honestly say that this journal made sticking to the program (and so creating a lasting habit) much easier. Just filling out and re-iterating your reasons for starting this challenge (along with the motivational stories) created a focus that I know I just wouldn't have had with the Body For Life book alone. In the 12 weeks I lost 34lbs (and gained a toned and fit physique) which I have not only kept off but have lost more since - the results alone are now my motivation. I have since bought a second journal as it is such a good way to log progress in more than just a numerical way.
