Bluetone's best yet 10 Oct 2006
By Adrian
Format:Audio CD
I've been listening to a promotional copy of this for the last month. It is absolutely superb and beats even their previous best (Expecting To Fly). It is one of those albums that seems to jump out of the CD rack ahead of all others. Now it is properly released we can buy another copy and save the arguments about which of the five members of our family gets to play it next - yes, even the kids love it.

Get in 2 Jan 2007
Format:Audio CD
Instantly catchy and will bring a smile to your face! I was lucky to catch Mark Morris playing some of these lovely songs in Cambridge as part of his Fi Lo Bedow side project and bought this album straight away.

I didn't rate Luxemburg much at all (except for maybe a few tracks). This album is more solid. Something us remaining Bluetones fans can be proud to lend to friends!

Format:Audio CD
Fabulous, fabulous album. Whilst maintaining the classic Bluetones feel and, thank goodness, those amusing yet touching lyrics, this seems to have a maturity to it somehow. All ten tracks are winners - 'Baby back up' has a great groove to it, both the singles ensure you are on your feet leaping around and 'last song but one' and 'hope and jump' are just beautiful songs to get lost in. And that voice, Mr Morriss ....

A frustrating but impressive album
The Bluetones' most recent effort is tellingly self-titled- yet Morris and co.'s album seems more content to occupy its own space rather than offer re-invention, as convention... Read more

Brilliant return
The Bluetones have not had a hugely succesful album for a long time. And sadly this is not likely to change anything as they continue to avoid media coverage. Read more

Self-Titled...The circle is complete?
Weird this one. While feeling in one way as if it's their swansong, sometimes i can't help thinking it is a fresh start. Only time will tell. Read more
