As an avid listener of the Blue Room on Radio 1, i can say this is a very true reflection of the weekly show. For those not familiar with the show DJ's Rob Da Bank & Chris Coco play a very broad and ecletic selection of down tempo & leftfield beats. Both DJ's bring their wide variety of musical tastes to this compilation with a bases loaded home run styled 'swing'.
Housey souly funky bluesy breaksy Rob & Chris really make this a compilation a must for every house ;)

I must be getting old, as I can't believe this CD is nearly 10 years old and I bought it soon after release. I am guessing that the free and easy availability of music and playlists on the internet, whilst it was around back then, is mainstream and accessable now in a whole new way so compilations like this just don't really need to exist, or if they did, they probably wouldn't sell so well.
The CD is a like a footprint of the show and sounds fresh even now, the reason I am writing this review is that I dug it out last week and was still blown away by it! It seems like it is out of print, but anything up to a tenner 2nd hand I'd say is money well spent!
