This book gave me a chance to rest in the pub after a long wet walk but it also refreshed and reenergised me, leaving me keen to get outside again tomorrow. I love the image of Adam and God swimming together, vying for supremacy and pushing one another under. I think this is a wonderfully encouraging, challenging, energising and inspiring book.

Well written book about blokes for blokes. Yes it's based around bible stories but it really brings out their relevance to a modern world. Thanks Dave for openness, honesty and telling it as it is. Also a great read especially if stuck in hotel rooms in foreign countries. I'm looking forward to the sequel! God bless and tread boldly.

I have been waiting a long time for this book. This is Dave Hopwood at his best. Sharp, current, relevant and apropriate to a modern Christian life. We all need a copy of this book ready to give to a friend when the questions start. Buy two, you'll need extra copies to give away!
