Review

On the Biggest Hole in the World: Young readers will manage to suspend disbelief to enjoy the sheer exhilaration of a fantasy journey which imparts useful information... Playful in text and illustration this book would make a welcome gift to enjoy at home or it would feed into key stage 1 science and geography topics. (Books for Keeps)

...ingenious.... (The Green Parent)

...this ingenious little number manages to be factual and fictional simultaneously. Brilliant. (Families Magazine: The Bookseller Crow)

Vincent Vigla's illustrations are lovely. He's got a fun, bold, cartoony style, that sits beautifully on the colourful planets in the background. Charlie and Doggo are wonderfully expressive characters. (The Bookbag)

This is a book that will delight space enthusiasts. (Nursery World)

This book has been asked for repeatedly at storytime for days on end. (School Librarian)

Book Description

Join Charlie and Doggo for an amazing adventure in outer space. There's plenty of surprises! Did you know that a massive chuck of ice as big as a sofa once fell from the sky and landed in India?

This is a great little book with lovely illustrations. My 4 year old is space daft and loves this journey in a home made rocket (complete with Planet Proggler!!!) into outer space. Has lots of interesting facts about space and a nice simple story with keeps young kids happy. Would also recommend The Biggest Hole in the World by the same author.

Had lovely animations but did not quite hit the button for the audience. Used as a thought provoker and then much better reception
