Product Description

Product Description

The legendary Poldark saga continues in the fifth Poldark book.

Book Description

Cornwall 1794. The birth of a son to Elizabeth and George Warleggan serves only to accentuate the rift between the Poldark and Warleggan families. And when Morwenna Chynoweth, now governess to Elizabeth's eldest son, grows to love Drake Carne, Demelza's brother, the enduring rivalry between George and Ross finds a new focus for bitter enmity and conflict. 'From the incomparable Winston Graham...who has everything that anyone else has, then a whole lot more' Guardian

Poldard Novels 20 Nov 2010
Format:Paperback
Having been given the first 4 novels, I am completly hooked! Unlike some sagas, the Polkdark novels keep the reader enthralled, introducing new characters the developing the original characters. I also like the way the author uses the events of the time, involving the charaters in very plausible situations. A very good read.

I love the Poldark Novels. I was so pleased I can now get them on Kindle. One or two typing errors but not excessively so. Well worth reading.

Passionate Poldarks 10 Jan 2012
By Susan
Format:Paperback
I have recently been re-reading the Poldark novels. I love Winston Graham's descriptions, you can just visualise what he's writing about
and I love the way he writes about Cornwall. Would really recommend these novels - but prefer the earlier ones when Ross and his wife
Demelza were younger and just starting out on their lives together.
