This groundbreaking programme puts her career in the context of the Germany of the Nazi era, with the SS to which she belonged in control. As the wife of a concentration camp commander, she was to grow accustomed to a privileged existence. This elite lifestyle, financed mainly through embezzlement, together with her sadistic activities, saw her brought before a court of the SS. Later, the American Military Tribunal, and finally the German High Court were to find her guilty of crimes against humanity. She was to be jailed for life, released, and then jailed again.

Its title leads one to think this DVD will be about some one who inflicted torture murder etc on this interns..incorrect from what transpired seems she was there......nothing more and waste of money

At the price it still is not worth buying. If the dvd had been on Isle Koch only it would have lasted about 5 minutes. It has fill in's on other Nazi's of the time.

It's ok, it's a pity there was no sub-titles to this DVD, interesting story and can't believe what this woman did in the camp. Unbelieveable. Like I said it's ok. If a book was printed I would read the book, that way it tells me and understanding this gruesome woman and her history. Is there a book about her?
