Book Description

She's a woman who's never short of a man. And they call her. . . The Bitch Fontaine Khaled has an Arab millionaire among her yesterdays and hard-gambling Nico for all her tomorrows. Which only leaves the problem of choosing a man for today . . . From London to Las Vegas, Hollywood to Athens – she calls the shots from her plush limos and black satin sheets. She’s a woman who always gets what she wants. She is The Bitch and she is in control. And that could never change – could it? ‘Casinos, swimming pools, orgies, race horses, gangsters, sex-in-the-shower – it’s all there!’ Observer

As a great fan of all of Jackie Collins Novels, in particular the Santangelo epics I found this book to be written in a slightly different style to the usual writings of this great Author! 'The Bitch' is the sequel to 'The Stud' following the progression of one of the main characters from this previous book Fontaine Khaled, it shows a twist in fate of this rich once sucessful wife of an Arab millionaire. Jackie Collins leaves the reader in suspense as to whether Leopards really do change there spots and as usual she leaves the reader wanting much much more

4.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous! 18 Jun 2013

This is Jackie Collins' finest! The mood of this book is set firmly in the 70s, so I was surprised and a bit disappointed to find that this edition has been 'updated' but in an odd way. They drop random references to modern day in there, for example they mention a girl putting on her Ipod and dancing around to it. In the disco scenes they throw in modern performer's names like Beyonce and Mariah Carey. It seems odd to me, perhaps because I know the book so well, maybe a new reader wouldn't notice!

Jackie Collins at her best - only critical thing i can possibly say is that the story drags a bit then ends suddenly.
