NIGELLA LOVES:'I have bought each of my children one of these I LOVE YOU inscribed cookies... they are just too darling' --Nigella Lawson

'The perfect gift' --Tom Parker Bowles, Mail on Sunday

'Biscuiteers, the delicious online bakery, made us some very special hand-iced Vogue cookies. And my, aren't they pretty? We'd say they were almost too pretty to eat, but who are we kidding? Make your own with 'The Biscuiteers Book of Iced Biscuits' by Harriet Hastings and Sarah Moore. --Vogue.com

'Biscuits are back. Next time you are having a coffee break, only a stiletto biscuit will do.' --Evening Standard

'If the way to someone's heart is through their stomach, these treats should make you very popular indeed. Decorate your favourite biscuit recipe with patterns or flowers, or write messages across them as an alternative Valentine's card.'--John Lewis, Winter Issue

'Fun ideas to decorate your digestives.'--Chic Eats

'Biscuits make popular wedding favours and can even be iced with the recipient's name to double as place cards. This fun book contains everything you need to make fabulous-looking biscuits for every season and occasion, from birthdays to hen parties and weddings. There are recipes for basic biscuits such as vanilla, lemon, chocolate, ginger, almond and spice, plus different types of icing and colouring, piping instructions and templates' --Wedding Cake Magazine

'As befits a largely gift-orientated business, many of the ideas here are seasonal. With clever twists such as biscuit advent calendars. While there are plenty of fashion cookies (dresses and shoes), it's not all cutesy, with blokey biscuits for dads.' --British Baker

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Stunning 4 Nov 2010
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this book after seeing an article in the You magazine. It is truly stunning, the photography, ideas, layout and recipes are incredible - and my kids and I spent a fun afternoon making the Hallow'een cookies - they were thrilled with the results. A worthwhile buy or lovely present for someone......

I absolutely love this book - there is an interesting section at the front about how the business came to be and there are tons of recipes - which to be honest I didn't expect as I thought it would just be examples of their work. I worried also about having to have all the individual cookie cutters which would have cost a fortune but again the book provided as there are all the templates at the back.
A must for anyone who is interested in neat, pretty food!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful 27 Dec 2010
By Simon Tavener VINE™ VOICE
Format:Hardcover
This was a surprise gift from a friend - and it is a delight. Not sure my piping skills will ever be up to that standard, but it is nice to dream.

The quality of the photography and presentation is spot on and the techniques well explained.

Perhaps a few more step by step pics would help novices - but that is a very minor quibble.

Should get a few more people baking - just like me
