Well Universal UK did it again !
Another great and must for all Bionic fans ! This DVD features the very first episodes of the series and present Jaime Sommers, the first Bionic Woman, from the moment she leaves hospital after recovering from her memory lost, to a chance for a second life in her hometown.

In the 3rd episode, Jaime is then sent on her first mission. With guest stars like Martha Scott and Andy Griffith, these are amoung the best episodes of the original series !

The quality of the DVD makes the shows look like if they were brand new. The sound is so clear you hear things regular TV could not give us ! And the picture is so clear... The show hasn't lost a thing since it's original broadcast, 25 years ago !

PLUS: the great music of Jerry Fielding (the original Bionic woman melodies) and the very special openings and closing sequences that no other episodes have...

A classic to discover and rediscover !!!

This DVD contains the two-part episode "Welcome home, Jamie". This is the first episode considered as the separate spin-off from the Six Million Dollar Man.

Jamie Sommers has just undergone yet another operation ( #3 ) to alieviate the pain from her flashbacks of memory. She returns to Ojai, Calif, to settle down in her barn-loft (with Steve Austin's parents), starts teaching at the Ventura Airforce base, and unknowingly becomes the object of her first solo mission.

This episode introduces us to her domestic life when not assigned O.S.I. missions.

All three introductory episodes: "the bionic woman", "the return of the bionic woman", and "welcom home, jamie" are must sees and thankfully available through Amazon.

I also wish Universal-MCA would release all the Bionic Woman / Six Million Dollar Man crossover episodes involving Bigfoot

This two-parter sequel to the bionic woman episodes featured on Six Million $ Man is titled Return of the Bionic Woman also featured on SMDM before finally launching into her own-titled series. Story begin's with Steve Austin being injured on a mission and discovering at top-secret hospital that dead fiancee Jamie Sommers is now alive. All is explained on the why and how the twist this time around is she has no memory of her relationship to Steve so he must re-adjust to this situation and help her retrain her bionic's and a new life. A mission for the two goes wrong toward the end as painful flashback's plauge our heroine, baffling all concerned until Steve Austin inform's that it isn't trip back home to Ojai to refresh some memories that's causing her pain but faint memories of her and himself subconsciously triggering the pain experienced from earlier bionic-rejection and subsequent brain-haem origing. In conclusion with problem addressed it is decided to send Jamie away to another complex away from Steve. Fun-filled fantasy entertainment with good performances from Lindsay Wagner,Richard Anderson,Martin E.Brook's and Lee Major's in nostalgic action/adventure spy series of world's first bionic-duo. May be a little slow/corny for kid's of today but a classic for all who've seen and grown-up with the show's. Recommended Viewing for good clean heroic-fun!
