I was very disappointed by this book to a point in which I did not even finish it. None of its content was worth reading, most things were too obvious or theoretical and useless. The author spends most of her words defining one type of family or another, linguistic definitions, languages and linguistics, and perceptions about bilingualism. I was expecting concrete strategies such as be consistent, do always speak in your mother tongue to the baby, do not correct harshly rather repeat the sentence correctly, avoid mixing languages etc etc I bought this book because the one by Tracey Hokuama Espinosa was too expensive and now I really regret it. Do not waste your money.
