Format:Audio CD
I have always been amazed that this album had never been issued on CD and here it is! I discovered this purely by accident and just added it to my cart. This is a classic session from Verve featuring Duke's band without Duke and under the baton of Johnny Hodges. If you like thrilling, heart-pounding big band jazz then do not hesitate. Hodges is in fine form, as is Cat Anderson, Harry Carney and all the other usual suspects. A real treasure. Thank you to whoever decided to reissue this gem!
