Book Description

3 Nov 2005
Edited by Seth Godin. Most organisations are stuck in a rut. On one hand they understand all the good things that come with growth, one the other they are petrified that growth means change and change means risk. Godin has worked with 33 of the world's best business minds to answer the critical question: How do you make a business remarkable? The Big Moo is a simple book in the tradition of Fish and Don't Sweat the Small Stuff. Instead of lecturing, it tells stories that light the imaginative fire and encourages true innovation.

Historians of magic are in total agreement about this: Hou-dini did hackneyed mechanical tricks, showed little evidence of talent, and had almost none of the suave charisma that the great magicians of his era had. Read the first page

5.0 out of 5 stars Best (Non-Fiction) Audio Book I've Listened To 18 Dec 2009
By Daddy-O VINE™ VOICE
Format:Audio CD
An excellent audiobook - very fast, funny and insightful. Because it's a series of short essays / observations from a number of people (33 I think) it is never boring even at over 3 hours.

Seth Godin (think Woody Allen's younger Marketing brother) has a very friendly audiobook voice, and because he sounds a bit like Woody, to me at least, it all comes across as a bit of a stand-up session.

Perfect for commuting as each section is quite short, and I like the "gong" between chapters.
