The best little book 12 July 2005

I was looking for a book on Pilates with good instructions, and with both long and several short sets of exercises. I have tried some yoga-classes, and it was ok, but I felt I needed something more distinct, that I could do at home. This book turned out to be very good. It includes both a longer, complete, program for people who have an hour per day (which I don't), and many small sets, composed for mornings, lunch breaks, office-chair-movements etc. I found this book great in the beginning, when I tried out several of the programs, getting a feel for Pilates. The instructions are fabulous, very precise and it is like hearing my yoga-instructor. And a final plus: The book really is very small - I can hold it in one hand, laying on my back when I try to figure out a new movement. Includes mat exercises as well as ball-exercises, and after six months I am still using it to learn new moves and sequences.
