1.0 out of 5 stars Pretty much junk 2 May 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Basically this is a list of summaries of articles taken from a handful of websites - some of them rather dodgy in terms of reliability. The author has apparently made no attempt to verify his 'facts' and from the quality of the text is either nearly illiterate or not a native English speaker/writer; presumably the book was not proofed in any way either. Save yourself the money and surf the Internet instead.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Stuff Indeed 11 Nov. 2013
By Eddie D. - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
This book has a bunch of interesting stuff. Some things I already knew but most were new to me.
Here are a few things I learned from this book:

There is a 95% survival rate for people in car accidents.
The movie Titanic cost more to make than the actual Titanic.
There are male and female pine cones.
Male Dolphins have been known to gang rape females.
In Germany you cannot be punished for trying to break out of jail.

There were a few repeats towards the end but all in all it was a good read. I recommend this to fans of usless information of any kind.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not very accurate or interesting 4 Feb. 2014

Give a room of monkeys training at how to cut and paste and access to the internet and I reckon they would be able to provide better researched and more interesting content. Sadly the editors of this book didn't have access to a roomful of monkeys. This is their plan b outcome.

1.0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE WRITING 13 Nov. 2014

This was the most poorly written book I have ever read.
2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing 7 July 2014
By BarbC - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
I returned this book long before I finished it. Many of the entries were information that I was already aware of, and the spelling and grammar were often inaccurate. A disappointment.
