Superb.. kids of all ages will love this book, as you create exploding grannies and open top houses! It doesn't seem educational, but it is (I'm a primary teacher)- the top flaps are basically adjectives describing the bottom flap nouns, so it's great for using both types of word, and also for creating wacky things that could be used to start stories etc (this is a really easy activity to use with the book-use the thing created as inspiration to start your own story eg about the strawberry flavoured spider). Or just enjoy it!
Though I bought this for my 4 year old, I think I will use it soon to inspire a class of 9 year olds to create their own crazy mix ups book.

My 3 year old and 5 year old love it. I had it out of the library and it kept them entertained so much I've bought it for holidays, travelling and dining out. A great success in keeping both occupied until food arrived but not exactly quiet as lots of laughing. 5 year old reads all words a reprieve from Biff Chip and Kipper!

My toddler son and I love this book. Lots of crazy mix ups like Spider-Icecream. It makes us laugh and there is plenty of variations to have fun with. Not very educational but lots to talk and laugh about.

Both our 2 and 4 yr old boy's love looking at this book, and making each other laugh with it. We have a few Nick Sharratts book, and would fully recommend them.

"Fantastic"
My 2 year old finds this book really funny. The book has nice large print and lots of colour too. Would highly recommend.

Rip Off
This book is a carbon copy of Cheese and Tomato Spider with a few added pages. If you already own Cheese and Tomato Spider don't buy it.

A great success
Children of 2 and 3 enjoyed this witty book very much. Just make sure they don't pull the pages out of the ring binding in their enthusiam! A good book to keep at Granny's house.
