About the Author
Dian Hanson was born in Seattle in 1951. For 25 years she produced various men's magazines, including Puritan, Juggs and Leg Show, before becoming TASCHEN's sexy book editor in 2001. Her many books for TASCHEN include Vanessa del Rio: Fifty Years of Slightly Slutty Behavior, Tom of Finland XXL, and The Big Butt Book. She lives in Los Angeles.

This book is very well titled. Everything about it is big, including the physical size of the book itself. My husband furtively tried to sneak it in, but its not one you can slip past your wife unnoticed. It's a joy to look at though. Famous names from the past such as Paula Page and Linda West. (Which he says are the sort of woman you could happily marry, if he hadn't met me of course) A cavalcade of great beauties, (and gorgeous women) on every turn of the page that will take your breath away. It puts me in mind of the erotic magazines my dad used to hide in his shed, many years ago, that were filled with just pictures of beautiful goddesses. It would be wonderful to see those stars as they are now.
The book goes through the decades and all the models are a joy to look at. None of your scrawny cat walk size 0s here, just full figured natural womanhood. Also included are the very well endowed Chesty Morgan and the ultimate of ultimates, Norma Stitz. If you like your women well developed then this is the book for you. I would highly recommend it, give hubby a treat. Also in a similar vein, if you like erotic stories about mature well proportioned women (and indeed men) then have a look at 100 PERCENT EROTICA by Suzie Van Aartman.

Maybe I am a bit thick about 3D, only having seen one movie in the cinema in that format. I obviously didn't read the Amazon product review carefully enough, either!
Somehow I thought they were going to full colour pin-ups that'd look 'normal' when viewed normally and that the 3D element might make them look a bit better.
Firstly, they're all in black and white and quite dated, mostly from the '60s and '70s, I'd guess. I'd not heard of any of the models.
However, I wasn't disappointed. The girls are all natural, if the photos had been taken more recently, then the surgeon's knife would have become increasingly likely. But most of important, the 3D is STUNNING! They're like cardboard cut-outs, sharp and well defined. You really do feel that you could put your hand out and......!
Also, there's not a bad shot in the entire book. And when you start turning the top of the page over, the model sort of bends and moves with it, almost creating movement (was I getting too imaginative at these points?)
By today's top shelf and internet standards, all the pictures are far from being hardcore and would only offend the most easily shocked. The book would make a great, tongue-in-cheek gift to an older man (or woman) and there is the novelty factor, of course, one which I'm guessing won't disappear overnight...

The book does what it says on the cover. The book is full of high quality photographs of women with well emdowed breasts, made all the more tantalising by being a 3D Version. The sections range from the early twentieth century until the noughties. Text is cut to the minimum. I initailly bought this book as a source for life drawing, though not all the poses are subtle enough for artistic reasons. Yet it is a celebration and testament to full figured women. My comments is that I nearly tore the cover when taking out the glasses.
