Bevan Boy 10 Jan 2012
By Barrington Day - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a true story of conditions suffered by the Bevan Boys. Most would have preferred to go to war, and not down the mines, but they had no choice.

The scheme was NOT a resounding success. It was like putting square pegs in round holes, David Day was a journalist and totally unsuited for this sort of manual work.

I know the facts are true as My Uncle David(Day) was the author, Unfortunately he died recently at the age of 85.
