Bought for pennies plus P+P is spectacular value especially when all I wanted was a single track.
So for the Whammies still out there, here's what YOU need to know.
A comprehensive discography you will of course be very familiar with, remastered, sparkling and bright for the MP3 generation listening, BUT - and it's a great big one, if you ARE a WHAM fan seek out "THE FINAL" which is the more correct collection of their repertoire as you knew them in the 1980's.
Two key reasons One - FINAL includes numbers associated with WHAM that were George Michael solo relases, where BEST OF lists only stuff badged as the duo, therefore sidestepping the stratospheric hit CARELESS WHISPER and the thoughtful DIFFERENT CORNER. Second Michael, as always tormented by the guilt of having made a hill of beans from selling bubblegum to 10 year olds, re-visits and frequently re-mixes the parts that didn't touch the soul the first time.
Ultimately BEST OF is the more mature, THE FINAL is the more authentic. You choose....

Bought this album after the Comic Relief "Smithy" sketch with George Michael. After hearing the tracks I remembered how great they were and how happy they made me feel! Got the CD at a great price and have been dancing around doing the cleaning ever since!! There is the odd dodgy track, but there always is on an album. Buy it - it'll knock years off you!!!!

This is George Michael pre solo stuff. It is a really good album but I don't like the order the tracks are in a small point I know but sometimes I can't be bothered reprogramming C.D.'s.I've given it 4 stars because they have left out some great tracks from the albums" The FINAL" and the first album. But a must for al George Michael fans and admirers
