Wonderfully read by amazing Stephen Fry (is there anything this man CANNOT DO?!)the much loved contemporary yet classical stories about the small and lovable bear from darkest Peru, continues to spellbind and entertain generation after generation. In all 7 cd's with at least one hour playing time each, the last three beeing Michael Bonds newest contribution, the novel Paddington Here and now-thus celebrating the little chaps 50-th anniversary.
A great buy for kids of all ages and their parents too....
The actual cd case feels a bit breakable-nice enough design, but maybe best handled by adult, rather than a child.

This is simply wonderful.
It calls itself the best of "Paddington Bear on CD", but at the time of this review, it's the only Paddington on CD.
This 7 disc boxset includes the 3 individually available volumes "A Bear Called Paddington", "More About Paddington" and "Paddington Here And Now"
As much as I don't particularly like Stephen Fry, he's an excellent and entertaining narrator. I loved his readings of Jennings and this is very much the same style. It's simple; but thoughtful and eloquently read.
As a child, the really big things in my (televisual) week were Doctor Who, Batman and $6,000,000 Man. Before I came to ANY of those things I had books about Paddington. These excellent readings take me right back to those happy & carefree times.

I bought this for my 7 year old son who had just starting to listen to Paddington and enjoy the books. It's a wonderful collection of stories, beautifully read by Stephen Fry. My son (and his friend) love it and have been listening to it over and over again. Very good value for money.

The best of paddington on DC Complete & Unabridged.
It's a nice CD set,very well read, but; my niece who is 5 years old said that she doesn't understand all the words. It is for much older kids. Read more
