The first Paul Carrack greatest hits compilation since 2006's The Story So Far is well-timed as his profile and reputation
seem to grow each year along with his prolific musical output. He's actually released 5 studio albums since 2006,
6 if you include the Ultimate Version of I Know That Name. He's also releasing arguably the best music of his career
and this album largely concentrates on the later body of work, from Old, New, Borrowed and Blue onwards. There's also
several big hits with the Squeeze classic Tempted (voacals by Paul) and solo versions of How Long, Over My Shoulder,
and The Living Years, the only live track on this compilation.
The sleeve notes provide an insight to each of the 19 tracks and whilst it's not as concise as the previous best of,
not covering his entire career, if you're a fan of his more recent output, you'll really enjoy this album.
