I bought this book mainly for a list of duties and help writing the speech for the role of best man. It fulfilled my first requirement, informing me what my duties would be. However, as with help for my speech, it gave me very little, if anything. Don't get me wrong, I do think the book is worth the low price tag, but remember it seems to have been written for weddings in the 1980's. Good luck!

If you're like me and feel a bit nervous about your role as best man, This book can help relieve those fears of stuttering and wishing the world was deaf and blind. Superb ideas and attention to detail that will make you look like Bond sipping a vodka martini rather than inspector gadget trying to oil the gadget copter. There's not just speech tips in this book. You can extend your role to helping out at the ceremony, ensuring all invited are attending the reception and the worst task of all getting jiggy with the bridesmaids. Top class publication and its helped me become the most sought after dinner speaker in Glasgow!!
I got this book soley to help me write the best man's speech - unfortunately it did not deliver.
This book reminded me more of a nagging relative than a truely informative book. The book, especially in the "Best Man's speech" section is more a list of "don't do this, and don't do that" - a lot of which I find conflicts with other recommendations.
I'm afraid I got very little from this book, and it is off to ebay, while I try to find something that is a better guide.
