The title of this Eric Sykes DVD is somewhat of a misnomer as it's not a compilation of clips and sketches but a whole episode of 'Sykes And A...' which was remade as 'The Plank', a whole episode of 'Sykes' which has Eric and Hattie Jaques meeting the head of the BBC and in turn they talk about old episodes of the show which is mainly about the episode where Eric gets his toe stuck in the bath tap and these clips are incorporated into the present show with a few out-takes stuck on at the end.
There's funny guest appearances from Les Dawson and Peter Sellers but if you're expecting a compilation (like I was) you'll feel a little let down although I will admit that the hour and twenty did fly by.

Can you get any better than this what a master Eric Sykes was a craftsman with words and actions.
The best of Sykes can be watched over and over again and still you laugh,still you see something different in a gesture or a pause. I am a Preacher and have learnt so much how to put over a talk,tell a story by watching the at work thank you for keeping these golden oldies alive long may they reign
