As a huge fan of Still Game I couldn't wait to see the series where it was born Chewin' the Fat. I thought I'd go for the best of as you always get a couple of duffers in each series. This really is laugh out load comedy and enjoyed every second of it. I don't think this is as funny as the Still Game series but it very good and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

For those who enjoy Glasgow humour this show cannot be bettered. The language can at times be near the bone and perhaps is not for those who are offended by the odd swear word - but it is funny.
We know that this DVD is hilarious because we already have a copy: well worth buying if you have a Scottish (read irreverent) sense of humour. The trouble is that we have received all of the other items that were similarly ordered as "IN-STOCK" but this identical packet is apparently going to take some 4 WEEKS to ship to us! Slightly disingenuous to say "IN-STOCK", I think.

ENJOYABLE
THIS WAS A PRESENT FOR MY HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS AND HE REALLY ENJOYED THIS DVD,THE WHOLE FAMILY WACTHED IT TOO

Excellent Scottish humour with some flashes of real brilliance. Good to see the genesis of Still Game in the characters.

Poor. If this is the best I am pleased I didn't order the rest! No comparison with the later series of Still Game.
