Insider's guide 15 April 2010
One of the press reviews sums it up well - 'makes you feel like you have been let in on a local secret' - there's loads of insider info and tips in this. It was one of the guidebooks I took to the Edinburgh Festival and it's probably one of the most comprehensive for exploring the area - I particularly liked that it included places to avoid as well as places to go, as well as recommendations from local characters and information on the interesting tucked-away places, not just the tourist sights.
