Format:Audio CD
A compilation like this really is the very best of Black Sabbath, rather than buy all the seperate cd`s. Look no further castle have done a great job here and its all been remastered! there are tracks from almost every album, apart from ,The mob rules and The seventh star. Heres the down bit ,It could of been a triple too much to ask for I know but there are many missing for instance,Wheels of confusion,Fluff(dedicated to Alan Freeman;R.I.P),Meglomania,johnny blade,gypsy,Neon nights,The mob rules. BUT it does`nt matter this is the best of Black Sabbath worth every penny!! Makes one realize just how good they were {are} .

This really is the best of Black Sabbath. If you have not heard of them or are just trying them out because you know they are classed as legends then you cannot go wrong with this compilation.
If you are a Sabbath fan but maybe you have all their recordings on vinyl then go for the box set 1970-1978 instead.
If you are trying out Sabbath because of Ozzy Osbourne and recent found glory then be aware that this material is harding hitting than his solo material, with more guitar rifts and darker lyrics, but it is brilliant.

A really comprehensive collection, which showcases Sabbath at their best.
A great CD if you just want a (fairly hefty) slice of Sabbath but are perhaps just wanting a taster or have not heard a great deal of them before.
Make no mistake , there are some extremely fine songs on this record & when Ozzy & Iommi were on form (as they were for the recordings on here) they were truly superb.
I'm not a fan of Dio but some of the better efforts of that particular incarnation are also on here - quality CD,worth the investment
