I grew up watching Benny, every week my mum watched him on t.v and we would be laughing our heads off! His sauciness is incredibly funny, whether it's through speech or other.Infact, just looking at him would make me laugh, with his facial expression and glasses and also his stature.
You either love this kind of humour or you dont, it's as simple as that, It's not the type of comedy that would grow on you in my opinion.
I think most of his dvds are fairly predictable, you know the type of thing that's going to be in them, but for anybody that is not familiar with Benny Hill, go and buy one of his dvds and just see if you find any of it funny.
