I purchased this book with the intention to give it away as a gift. It's a great book which travels you throughout the world introducing the beers produced in every corner of the earth, from the smallest tiny villages to the largest cities. Even though one may not be a beer lover, however they''ll surely be fascinated by the detail and the extremely meticulous work that's been done for the creation of this book.Definitely recommended to everyone!!!

The book is excellent. I have bought it for my partner's birthday. He loves it. Delivery was very fast. Product was brand new. I have gone through all beer related books on the current market to make sure that I will get the best of them - this was the winner!

Overall this is an enjoyable book. It covers a lot of different beers with lots of pictures and features on a number of breweries and brewing themes.

However, there are a number of editing issues that are a bit irritating as you read through the book. A better edited book would probably rate 4 stars.

Some examples:
- Feature on glasses discusses a new glass specially developed for Sam Adams but the spread doesn't include a picture.
- Text on porter and stouts mentions breweries and beers than don't feature elsewhere.
- There's a lovely feature photograph of a Paulaner Weissbier, but the brewery doesn't appear in the text. (Indeed coverage of large breweries varies from country to country.)

Lastly, the index only lists the breweries and not the featured beers, making it hard to find favourite beers if you don't know the brewer.
