Trinitarian ecclesiology is often neglected in the West. An understanding of it is crucial if the Church is to engage with its new context of spiritual tourism. This book explores a phenomenological understanding of the Trinity and its implications for building community.
Ian Mobsby is one of the founding members of the Moot Community in Central London in the UK, a new monastic, emerging and fresh expression of church. Moot is now based in the ancient church of St Mary Aldermary in the City of London, where Ian is currently an Assistant Anglican Priest working full time. Ian has past involvement in three previous alt worship/emerging church communities. He is also an Associate Missioner of the Church of England Archbishop's Fresh Expressions Team, and an associate lecturer of the South East Institute for Theological Education, and a visiting practitioner to St Mellitis College in London. Ian is a member of the Church of England's College of Evangelists. He is a research Section Editor for the EmergingChurch.info portal, Co-Editor of the Anglimergent.ning.com global network and a founding member of the international New Monasticism Network.
Ian has lectured widely and spoken on tours to the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
