More of an idea book than a how to book. I did like some of the suggestions given and like the book says, read the instructions and follow them.

An embarrassing translation from an unknown language- its more than obvious this writer isn't English, even if it looks like his name is. This book defines words that don't really need definitions, and using the word "space" a lot when it would be more relevant to use "room" or something. First the book tells you to "get creative" and suggests magazines or friends, but then says if thats not inspiring there's nothing wrong with "your way" as if to say your own thoughts were creative?!

This book is not as badly written as his other book "Furniture Makeovers: A Simple Guide to Staining and Finishing Furniture" (OMG which is now $2.99??!!) -at least this book has a few decent ideas, though I believe there are better sources. All the short sentences and poor grammar make this a tough read.

There is a small section about "Recycling Pieces from the Unusual". Not bad, except I've seen most of these ideas free on the internet. You can Google them, like bookcases into cabinets, stencil or painting your furniture, waterproofing anything for outdoors, chalkboard paints (huge trend right now, all over internet), or making pillows from stuffed animals. And end of book. Kindle Fired, deleted. I also got this one free!
