4.0 out of 5 stars ITN Footage basically 29 Mar 2011
As a huge beatles fan; anything I can find that may contain extra footage or information about them is a hit with me. Most of the video footage in this DVD are videos easily found again and again on the internet such as you tube. Its a nice addition to my DVDs but I did not learn anything new from it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for the benefit of Mr. Kite 17 Feb 2010
The most annoying thing about these unauthorised reviews is the crappy, elevator-like non-Beatles music to save some money - or would you buy a Jaguar with a Hyundai engine??

This DVD would have got a 5 star rate - if they hadn't overdubbed even the "Live on stage" parts. It contents no original Beatles music.

Nevertheless: nice interviews and mostly good picture quality. I've enjoyed watching it. For all who like these sorts of DVDs I recommend "She loves You". It is full with all kinds of interviews with the Beatles.

My advice: wait till it gets a little cheaper - then you will be a little bit more pleased.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not one Beatle song! 25 Sep 2011

This is a very dull DVD with clips from different years not explained or put in any context. It promises much more than it delivers.

It has one or two interviews that are worth seeing but there is not one clip of a Beatle song -even the coverage of the concerts are voiced over with commentaries so you don't hear any singing.

It starts with a 7 or 8 minute interview with the Beatles and Ken Dodd in 1963 and the interviewer asks Ken Dodd most of the questions - so a great chance to interview the Beatles is wasted. This sets the tone of the whole DVD.

It is divided into years - so 1963 is mostly the Ken Dodd interview - with no list of Beatle songs or albums that year. Someone should have linked the few interviews and clips so that at least you can get the context.

This is a total waste of money if you are really interested in the Beatles. You Tube has better clips free.
