Featuring an interactive voyage through The Beatles' career, the game includes not just their most memorable songs but also venues such as The Cavern Club, Abbey Road Studios and surreal dreamscape settings.
The basic gameplay is similar to Rock Band 2, with players able to play along as virtual band members on either guitar, vocals (including harmonies for the first time) or drums. Do well and you can unlock video and audio clips - some of which have never been released before in any other medium. The Beatles: Rock Band marks the first time that Apple Corps, along with EMI Music, Harrisongs Ltd, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, has agreed to present The Beatles music in an interactive video game format. The Beatles: Rock Band will be published by MTV Games and developed by Harmonix, creators of the Rock Band franchise.
