Product Description

The most successful entity in the history of the entertainment business, and still as popular as ever 40 years on, The Beatles' story is a classic rags to riches tale.

Here, every official Beatles single and album is discussed, along with a detailed discussion of how the four working-class Liverpool lads met and, using the songs and records as signposts, a journey through their colourful, historic, and celebrated career.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Nice History of the Music of the Fab Four 9 Jan 2013
By James Marsh - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Paul Charles takes us on a brief musical biography of the Beatles. That is to say that he looks at the groups formation, and then each single and album, noting innovations and landmarks established by arguably the greatest musical group of all time. His incites a enlightening for those (like myself) who are familiar with the basic history of the group but want to know specifically what is what that they did to create musical history.
