Why Choose This Book

Google the words ‘Beatles’ and ‘Beatlemania,’ and you’ll see photos of four adorable lads in mop tops and matching suits, and of enormous crowds of mostly female teenagers whose facial expressions tell you so much about how crazy the phenomenon was back in those days. John, Paul, George and Ringo rose to fame in 1962 as the Beatles. This book captured the important events, from John’s birth to the formation of the Quarrymen, to the Beatles’ humble beginnings in Hamburg, Germany, to the peak of their career, and to the inevitable breakup.

What’s Inside

The story of the Beatles isn’t merely the rags-to-riches type that we hear about so many times. They were men full of young dreams, of making music and sharing it with the world. Find out:
• How the Beatles came to be
• The story behind the men who had come and gone and became a part of the group
• The ups and downs, and the big break
• The manager whose determination to make the boys a star and the pressure that it imposed on him drove him to seek comfort in drugs and drinking that ultimately led to his death
• The albums and singles that set the Beatles apart from their contemporaries
• The madness of Beatlemania, and how it slowly broke the group apart
• The tensions, the disagreements, the bickering, and all the things that led to the inevitable breakup, and so much more!

Really nice summary!!
This is a great quick read on The Beatles history, if you still haven't read their Anthology. I would say it covers most of the stories we already know on the group's history, but you still must view it from their own words!

Great for the collection!!!

The book was horrible. I couldn't read it all. It didn't have anything to do with the Beatles hardly. I Don't Think Anyone..Even Beatles Lovers, Will Enjoy This Book. 1 Star Is Being Nice For This Book.
